Planning & Zoning Commissioner Jim Frain tossed his hat into the ring today by filing his candidacy papers at City Hall. Commissioner Frain is a resident of Ward 2 and a City Council meeting regular. You’ll recognize him by his white hair and neatly trimmed beard.
That brings us to a total of three (3) people in the hunt for the mayoralty.
Ward 2 City Councilman Pierce Conley
Ward 4 City Councilman Bill Hennessy
Planning & Zoning Commissioner Jim Frain
Some of the wildcards are still out there. They either persist in the rumor mill or they refuse to come down off of the fence about it.

- District 19 State Representative Cynthia Davis [Her candidacy becomes less likely with every passing day.]
- Ward 3 Councilman Dan Haney
- Former District 17 State Representative Vicki Schneider

Now that filings are complete hopefully Lowery will not interfere with the allegations about Frain down by his creek.
In the know people explain former Chief found things out and the Mow-wery couple wanted it kept quiet.
